Grocery Store Chain Selling Shirtless Jason Kelce Cookie Cakes for the Super Bowl
Jason Kelce #62 of the Philadelphia Eagles celebrates after the Kansas City Chiefs score a touchdown during the first half of the AFC Divisional Playoff game against the Buffalo Bills at Highmark Stadium on Jan. 21, 2024, in Orchard Park, N.Y.
A grocery store chain in Illinois is selling cakes inspired by Jason Kelce's viral shirtless moment ahead of the Super Bowl on Sunday, Feb. 11.
A photo of the plastic-covered and price tag-clad cookie cake began making the rounds on social media earlier this week as football fans turned their attention to Super Bowl LVIII, in which Jason’s brother Travis Kelce is competing.
The cake shows a shirtless Jason created with frosting and chocolate shavings. An airborne football floats to the left of his head, and a message reading “Go Chiefs” is written around him in yellow icing on a green background.
The cake has a price tag from Jewel-Osco, a Chicago-area grocery store chain. The dessert, which is identified on the price tag as a chocolate chip buttercream cookie cake, is priced at $12.99.

One of the Kelce brothers’ fans posted a photo of the cake on the Reddit page for New Heights, the brothers’ podcast, after finding it inside a Jewel-Osco store.
Several fans wondered which Jewel-Osco stores were selling the Jason cakes. Others criticized the design, suggesting the bakers “did Jason dirty” with the cake’s piglike nose and pronounced belly button.
“Thats not Jason, thats Manbearpig,” one Redditor joked.
Believe it or not, this isn’t the first Jason cake that has popped up in the last few weeks. Others, like this one sold by Sweet Girlz Bakery in Easton, Penn., also show Jason in his moment of glory at the Kansas City Chiefs-Buffalo Bills game on Jan. 21. Jason was at that game to cheer for Travis, a tight end with the Chiefs, when he stripped off his shirt, jumped into the crowd and cheered. The moment quickly went viral.

Jason’s shirtless moment has inspired other artistic tributes, including a new Funko Pop and fan-drawn artwork. While his mother, Donna Kelce, told People that she was “not at all” surprised by her oldest son’s game-day antics, his wife, Kylie, appeared less amused and publicly threatened to adopt a cat for their family when Jason joked that he hadn’t asked for permission to behave as he did at the Chiefs-Bills game.
