Gwyneth Paltrow Says She Loves This $18 Drugstore Cream to Hydrate Dry Skin
Gwyneth Paltrow says she has used Weleda’s Skin Food for years.
The Goop founder makes hydration a priority because she tends to have dry skin.
You can shop the drugstore pick for just $18.
Gwyneth Paltrow is always glowing, and we just know her bathroom cabinet is filled with all sorts of skincare goodies. Of course, she’s a fan of her own products from Goop, but she has other staples—and one of them is a natural, drugstore cream that heals dry skin all over.
The 47-year-old mom of two takes hydration very seriously, especially because she tends to have dry skin. In a recent interview with Glamour, Paltrow revealed that if she was at a drugstore and had $20 to spare, she’d gravitate toward a good conditioner (her favorite being Marc Anthony’s Grow Long Super Fast Conditioner) or Weleda’s Skin Food, a cult-favorite cream that costs just $18.
The Politician actress confessed that it’s one of her top drugstore picks. “I’ve used it for years,” she told W Magazine.
That’s because she’s a big advocate for “clean” beauty, and this product definitely fits the bill. The plant-based formula is enriched with calendula (a type of flower), viola tricolor (another bloom!), and chamomile, combined with nourishing oils and beeswax for a soothing cream that banishes rough patches.
As a bonus, it also does wonders beyond the face. The all-purpose cream can be used on any part of your body that needs some extra TLC, making it super versatile.
Paltrow previously told Byrdie that her main goal is to always stay moisturized, so she also relies on hydrating serums, eye cream, and daily SPF to keep her complexion looking radiant.
Oh, and she approaches beauty from the inside out—meaning plenty of water is a must. “If you’re drinking a lot of water and have good hydration on the inside, you’re going to look good,” she says.
