Hailey Bieber Uses This $16 Hair Oil for Her Sleek Ballerina Bun

Here's how she created her latest coquette look.

Every time Hailey Bieber comes on our For You Page, she always gives us new inspiration for the latest—and sometimes Bieber-invented—"core," taking the beauty world by storm. Most recently, she took over the internet with her "strawberry makeup" that involved heavy red blush and her strawberry-flavored Krispy Kreme collab lip treatment. Before that, it was the infamous glazed donut beauty trend that started with her skin and then became her signature manicure, not to mention her recent "cinnamon cookie butter" hair transformation.

This time around, Bieber was inspired by her latest Rhode launch—four tinted versions of her Peptide Lip Treat. She took to TikTok to turn the name of the lightest shade into a whole look.

Coquette and ballerina beauty have been trending for a moment now. The coordinating bow-heavy aesthetics have been everywhere, from our nails to celebrities like Elle Fanning and the runways of New York Fashion Week.

The two trends have a heavy association with ribbons, baby pink, hyper-femininity, and anything that lets the girliest parts of you roam free without shame. So, it made perfect sense for Bieber to name her light pink shade of her latest lip drop "Ribbon," and to pose with the new tube in ballet flats and bows.

On September 22, Bieber posted a TikTok showing off how she uses her light pink Ribbon shade to create coquette glam. Which, to no surprise, also involved a ballet-inspired ensemble of a baby pink leotard on top of a black skin-tight shirt paired with a bow in her hair.

Her routine started with slicking back her pristine ballerina bun. To do this, she added a few drops of Pura D'Or Organic Castor Oil ($16) to her hair, which she used to slick her middle part into place. After her hair was shining to the Gods from the oil, she brushed any stray strands down and twisted her ponytail into a bun before going in with a light coat of hairspray.

Once her hair was locked in place, she got into the ballerina beauty. Bieber started by prepping her skin with the Rhode Glazing Milk ($29) before locking in moisture with the Peptide Glazing Fluid ($29) and the Barrier Restore Cream ($29). 

With her skin prepped, she began her makeup by sculpting her face with a bronzy pigment under her cheekbones and on her forehead. Then, she went in with a light concealer under her eyes and on her t-zone. After blending all of that, she applied some rosy blush to her cheeks and a slight dark tinge to her eyelids before brushing her brows and going in with a freckle pen. 

The finishing touches on her coquette couture? Powdering her face, tying a pink ribbon in her bun, lining her lips, and going in with her new Peptide Lip Tint in shade Ribbon ($16).
