Handlers show off dogs at Bernalillo County 4-H fair
BERNALILLO COUNTY, N.M. (KRQE) — Bernalillo County’s 4-H club hosted a dog fair on Saturday at Expo New Mexico. Contestants showed off how well their dogs follow commands. The show is a culmination of a year’s worth of hard work and constant training.
4-H prides itself on teaching the next generation agriculture and farming, and taking care of dogs is a big part of that. The president of the 4-H Board said the judges are strict, and winning is harder than it may seem.
