Happy Birthday, J. Lo! Here’s to Her Past Product Lines
Jennifer Lopez turns 48 today — and, yes, the mogul is still at the top of her game. But let’s take a moment to remember some of the brands that J.Lo created on her way there.
She debuted her lifestyle brand, J.Lo by Jennifer Lopez, in 2001. It featured an array of style products including velour sweatsuits, sunglasses, and varsity jackets. Then came the entrepreneur’s 2003 spin-off brand, Sweetface, which lasted until 2009.
J.Lo’s perfumes also flooded the market, beginning in 2002. That’s when she launched her first scent, called Glow, before going on to release 26 more fragrances, including one for men in 2008.
Speaking of men, Lopez and then-husband Marc Anthony announced their partnership brand for Kohl’s in 2010. Originally marketed as a concept from “the first celebrity couple to simultaneously design collections for one retailer,” the two lines were marked as two separate brands following the couple’s divorce.
What do you think J.Lo will create next?
