Lizzo Is Joining Harry Styles For The Pepsi Super Bowl Party And We Would Do Anything To Be There
Update: January 23, 2020 3:05 p.m. Pepsi announced that another superstar will be joining the line-up of its Super Bowl Party down in Miami: Lizzo! Yes, that's right ladies and gents, Lizzo and Harry Styles together in one place. Can you even...?
While we don't know exactly what Lizzo will be performing, from the sounds of it, we can expect her to sing some of her famous tunes and possible collaborate with Harry, too. Maybe they'll sing Juice together; he did cover it after all...
In addition to Lizzo and Harry, Mark Ronson will also be performing at the party so, uh, Pepsi REALLY knows how to throw a party!
Original: January 17, 2020 2:14 p.m. Harry Styles has been a busy guy this year with his chart-topping album and just being a timeless heartthrob and all. Apparently the man had enough time on his schedule to fit in a performance at Pepsi's Super Bowl party so I suddenly follow sports now!
Pepsi recently redesigned the packaging for Pepsi Zero Sugar beverages, and the drink now comes in a matte black can. The brand always has a party leading up to the big game, but this year the new package design is one of the main stars of the party, right there with Harry.
The matte back packaging isn't the only luxury thing about this event, the entire party will be held on Watson Island in Miami. Vice President of Marketing at Pepsi Todd Kaplan said the location is all a part of the what will make this event so unique.
"We want to give fans in Miami a night they will never forget, so we are building a bold, fully-immersive event on an island that will be unlike any other experience," he said in a press release.
The party is being dubbed Planet Pepsi Zero Sugar since the event space will be decked out in cans of the new Pepsi Zero as well as LED lights, mirrors, and more. All of this will be a backdrop to Harry's performance which is wayyyyy more interesting to me than the actual football game. Just my opinion, though!
Planet Pepsi Zero Sugar is taking place on January 31 and there are tickets available on Ticket Master. If you're going to be watching the game from your couch rather than Miami, Pepsi is also offering tons of other giveaways related to the Super Bowl. If the game ends with a score ending in zero, people who bought Pepsi Zero Sugar will be reimbursed.
Pepsi Zero Sugar will also be available on JetBlue flights and in Regal Cinemas, so you can try it out for yourself and stream Fine Line while doing so, which is almost the same thing.
