Haunted attractions celebrating 50 years of fright on Friday the 13th
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Friday the 13th of September, will be the opening night for the 50th season for the Edge of Hell and Beast haunted attractions in Kansas City’s West Bottoms.
Additionally, the Macabre Cinema will be opening up for the season on Friday, September 27.
With the season of scary fun now in full swing in the metro, the 50th season of these haunted attractions will bring scary good times to those seeking a memorable experience on a fitting night. For those brave enough to enter, Beast and Edge of Hell will open at 7:30 p.m.
Edge of Hell has made a name for itself by taking visitors into the depths of their fears, focusing on phobias and leaving hearts pounding.

Beast, on the other hand, returns with its trademark labyrinthine halls and lurking creatures, allowing visitors to choose their own path.
The Macabre Cinema brings nightmares of the silver screen to life with Hollywood horror sets, allowing guests to meet iconic horror film characters face-to-face.
This year, the haunted attractions are celebrating 50 frightening years of scares, setting the standard for Halloween enthusiasts across the nation.
“Let the scaring commence with timed ticketing priming the lines to move faster,” is the plan for this landmark year in the West Bottoms, said Amber Arnett-Bequeaith, also known as the Queen of Haunts.
“This 50th season will be our best yet. With timed tickets, guests can immerse themselves in the experience with a predictable time to enter.”
Tickets are on sale now for those interested in joining the KC’s haunted history.
