Heidi Klum Rocks Stunning Futuristic Gown on the Red Carpet
The supermodel's dress looked out of this world.
Heidi Klum looked like she traveled from the future when she appeared on the red carpet for the Fashion Trust U.S. Awards this week.
The 49-year-old stunned on the red carpet in a reflective silver gown by designer Kate Barton. The one-shouldered dress looked like liquid metal poured on Klum, with a wide panel in the same material wrapping around her waist.
Klum wore strappy silver heels to match, with her hair down and smoky eye makeup.
Her other accessory was just as eye-catching as the dress, as the model held a purse of sorts that resembles a pet goldfish in a glass bowl, though it's unclear if she could fit anything inside.
The mother-of-four also posted about the event on Instagram, sharing a photo from the red carpet (or rather, silver carpet), along with the message, "Last night at #FTUS2023 ? Thank you @fashiontrustus for shining an important light on all of the new and exciting talent in the fashion industry. Sooo inspiring ??."
This is the first year of the Fashion Trust U.S. Awards ever. The Fashion Trust U.S. is a nonprofit created to put a spotlight on emerging talent in fashion, with an emphasis on sustainability and inclusivity.
Other celebrities who attended the fashion-forward event included Ciara, Demi Moore and her daughter Scout Willis, Paris Jackson, Tracee Ellis Ross, and more.
Recently, Klum's daughter Leni began her career in modeling, with both Klum and Leni's father Seal voicing support for the 18-year-old.
Klum said of her daughter's burgeoning career, "I'm very proud of my daughter and her modeling. And she's studying at the same time, she's juggling already."
Leni is currently in school studying interior design in New York City.
The mother-daughter duo even posed together in a campaign for the lingerie brand Intimissimi in October of last year.
