Who Is ‘Her’ in ‘This Is Us’? This Crazy Theory Might Just Be Right

Ever since the season two finale of This Is Us, we’ve been picking apart every episode in an attempt to answer the burning question: Who is “her”? And last night’s season three premiere has sparked a conspiracy theory that seems pretty dang accurate.

Here’s what you need to know: During the flash-forward, Randall (Sterling K. Brown) tells grown-up Tess (Iantha Richardson) that “it’s time to go see her.” While some fans automatically assumed it was Beth (Susan Kelechi Watson), this new revelation could be good news for the character.

You see, last night’s episode went further than season two. The new scene features Randall calling Toby (Chris Sullivan), who is also hesitant about seeing “her.” So…is Kate (Chrissy Metz) the mystery woman? All signs point to yes.

To top it off, Toby wasn’t wearing his wedding ring in the flash-forward, so yeah, prepare to ugly-cry.
