HGTV's Egypt Sherrod Shares Health Update for 4-Year-Old Daughter

Egypt Sherrod is feeling proud of her "brave" little girl.
The Married to Real Estate star recently went through a scary situation with her 4-year-old daughter Harper Skye, who had to undergo adenoid removal surgery this week.
But Sherrod, 46, had a positive update to share after the procedure on Thursday, Oct. 5, revealing that her daughter is now back at home and resting.
"Today we are blessed," the HGTV personality wrote in an Instagram post, along with a video of Harper in the hospital as she got ready to head into surgery.
"Harper has been having trouble breathing at night," Sherrod explained, noting that she and her husband Mike Jackson have been "taking turns holding her while sleeping in a chair so she can be upright and get air."
"It's been going on for 3 months," Sherrod stated, before celebrating, "Finally today was her adenoids removal surgery and I am so proud of my baby."
"She was brave and although nervous, never freaked out," the proud mom gushed. "All is well and she is home with me resting."
She went on to say, "today my 4 year old is my SHERO!" while sweetly adding, "Go Harper Bean."
In Thursday's Instagram video, Harper could be seen giving her mom a thumbs-up before heading into the operating room. The hospital also let the young girl ride a little pink buggy into the room, which she sat on while cradling one of her stuffed animals.
She was seen later in another clip sitting on her mom's lap after the procedure, with Sherrod writing, "Many prayers later. The ordeal is over and she did amazing."
