Hoda Kotb Shares Unfiltered Opinion on Kelly Osbourne's Dilemma Over Her Son's Name

Hoda Kotb and Laura Jarrett are weighing in on Kelly Osbourne's recent revelation that her boyfriend, Sid Wilson, "wouldn't let" their son, 15-month-old Sidney, share her last name in addition to his.
Osbourne detailed "the biggest fight [she] and [her] baby's father have ever ever ever had, and probably ever ever will" on a recent episode of her family's podcast, sharing that, after "eye-opening conversations and some couples therapy," Wilson had finally relented, with the couple preparing to change Sidney's name to include Osbourne.
Folks were divided over the issue, with one suggesting that Osbourne had the right to be upset over the situation, but that "airing it out in public" and suggesting that she'll "never forgive him" on the podcast was "classless."
Someone else called it "an honor" for her and her children to have her husband's last name, rather than her own.
Others, including Kotb, were able to sympathize, having once been the person to "go along with what [someone else was] saying even though inside, it's bugging you."
"We've all done that," the mother of two young girls admitted. Jarrett agreed as Kotb continued, "We've all made decisions we didn't really want to or we didn't think was right."
Now, she's encouraging anyone struggling in a similar situation to speak up and say, "I love you...[but] this doesn't feel right for me."
That said, Wilson hasn't publicly opened up about his own side of the story, which some are calling for. "Sometimes we see things differently," one commenter pointed out. "...for the sake of interest, I'd love to know what her partner's version..."
