Hoda Kotb is finally letting fans in on her post-NBC plans as she prepares to depart Today early next year.
During the anchor's broadcast from Austin, Texas, with Jenna Bush Hager, where Kotb will host the first-ever Making Space Wellness event—described as an exploration of Kotb’s four pillars of personal growth (mind, body, emotion and spirit)—the mother of two opened up about what viewers can expect to see from her next.

“You know, I don’t know if you’ve ever had, like, a yearning, a calling, a desire, and you can’t quiet it even if you try,” she hedged in a new video uploaded to the official Hoda & Jenna Instagram account on Friday, Oct. 25. “Because working at NBC is safer, it is of course going to be much more [fun], yeah, all those things, but sometimes, you know there’s something else that you want to try in your life."
"I’ve been so turned on by the wellness space because I realized what was happening to me," she continued. "I tried different things and I noticed my body was calmer. I was getting sick less. I was feeling better. I was a better parent, a better friend, a better sister, a better daughter, and I thought, all these tiny things I was doing day after day were helping to change me inside."
Kotb, 60, added, "So, what I want to do is, I want to live in wellness. I want to work in that space. I want to start things. I’ve got things that are percolating inside that I’m going to hopefully have, you know, fully formed soon, but I want you guys to come along on the ride with me."
"Let’s all get better!" she concluded, as Bush Hager assured her, "I'm coming along!"
Today confirmed that they were behind her as well, captioning the video, "Hoda is continuing her wellness journey and we are supporting her every step of the way. ??."
While specifics are yet to come together, we're sure there will be more information made available soon, as Kotb approaches her final day with the morning program in early 2025.
