Ice-T and Wife Coco Are Proud Parents as Daughter Chanel Makes Modeling Debut
Ice-T and wife Coco Austin's daughter Chanel is ready for her close-up.
On Sept. 6, The Law and Order: SVU star's 7-year-old was one of the 100 children who walked the runway for the annual Rookie USA fashion show benefitting non-profit Moms for Moms, as part of New York Fashion Week.
Coco shared photos and video from the event on Instagram, gushing over her kid's adorable modeling debut.
"Chanel was in her first fashion show yesterday called @rookieusa. Also my cousin Stephanie's little girl @lacey.lynne_ got walk the runway too it was a special day for us moms! Some friends showed up .. including @lilkimthequeenbee and her daughter Royale who is Chanel's friend too! it was cute to see all 3 girls walk the runway!! I got teary eyed," she wrote.
The mom also shared plenty of footage from the fashion show on her Instagram Stories. The first Story captured Coco sitting in the front row next to her husband and rapper Treach from Naughty By Nature, asking, "Are we ready, guys?"
In another video, Chanel walked in a blue floral-printed Levis sweatsuit and white Converse, holding hands with another child, wearing a pink variant of the outfit. When she reached the edge of the runway, the little one posed with her arms up and blew kisses to the crowd.
Chanel also donned a different ensemble for the closing walk with all the other children, which consisted of a black short-sleeved collared shirt and rolled-up dark jeans. As she passed by her parents, she appeared to shake her dad's hand and was ecstatic to see him.
After the show, Chanel posed with rapper Lil Kim and sat with her dad backstage, alongside her cousin Lacey.
