New indoor slide park is now open in metro Phoenix. Here's everything you can do there

Slick City, a family fun center with indoor slides and an air court park, has opened its first Arizona location.

Slick City Action Park is at 7586 W. Thunderbird Road, Suite 100, Peoria. The venue is designed for all ages, with slides called Mega Launch, Royal Flush and The Dragon occupying the 36,000-square-foot space.

“I feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude and excitement with the growth we have seen. Arizona has given us quite the warm welcome already,” Bron Launsby, CEO and founder of Slick City, said in a press release.

“We are overjoyed to provide a new and exciting way to have fun and make memories with friends, family and loved ones in addition to creating 90+ new job opportunities in the community.”

The first of a planned five Arizona Slick City Action Parks has 10 slides, an acrobat alley with a trapeze and swing, as well as a junior play area with mini slides, tubes and obstacles, all set on an air court — a blend of trampoline, inflatable and safety mat features.

There are courts for basketball, dodgeball and other sports, plus a dual-level party space and food and beverages at the City Cafe.

The Slick City in Peoria has a new attraction called the Barrel Roll, which the company says provides the sensation of sliding endlessly.

Is Slick City Action Park good for all ages?

Yes. Kids age 4 and older can ride all the slides, and the Junior Jungle area is just for smaller kids.

And kids and adults can duke it out in a game of pick-up basketball or dodgeball if they need a break from slides.

Adults can slide to their heart's content during regular hours and on adult nights. The venue can host events for the perfect team bonding experience.

Slick City ticket prices

Slick City Action park has three ticket tiers based on age and how long you wish to play. CitySocks are required for all visitors and cost $4.99 per pair.

• Junior Ticket: Starts at $13.99 and includes access to the Junior Jungle area for kids age 3 and younger who are under 45 inches tall.

• 120 Minute Action Ticket: $30.99 and includes access to all slides and attractions for age 4 and older with no height requirement.

• 90 Minute Action Ticket: $25.99 and includes access to all slides and attractions for age 4 and older with no height requirement.
