This Ingenious Wendy's Menu Hack Will Blow Your Mind

Wendy's restaurant

Finding out there’s a new menu hack for your favorite fast food place is like finally cracking the cheat code to that video game you’ve been playing for days on end. Sure, it may not always work, but when it does, it feels like winning the lottery (the food lottery, that is.) While it’s not exactly the same as taking home the Powerball, making a stop by your local Wendy’s tends to have a similar effect thanks to deals like the ever-popular 4 for $4. And who can resist a deliciously creamy Frosty to complement their meal?

As the accoutrement to your Baconator, or even just as a dip for your fries, choosing the right flavor of Frosty can be a tough call when your meal screams for one flavor, but your heart wants another. Chocolate or vanilla? Peppermint or strawberry? It’s a difficult choice. But what if you didn’t have to choose? That’s right, folks. A little-known fact about the humble Frosty is that you can order two flavors in one! If you’re a fan of Neapolitan ice cream or vanilla chocolate swirl cones, this Frosty hack might be just the thing you’re looking for.

According to John Li, Wendy’s Global VP of Culinary Innovation, you can mix both available Wendy’s Frosty flavors by simply asking for it. “At Wendy’s, we take pride in our menu items being made for YOU. You can simply request a mix of both available Frosty flavors to create an entirely new flavor profile—just ask for half and half next time you order.” If we had known it was that simple, we would have filled up on chocolate-peppermint Frosty’s last season!

While we patiently wait for peppermint to make its return, Wendy’s has been busy pumping out exciting new flavors we can’t wait to try this half and half hack with. The latest and greatest flavor rumored to make its debut in stores is the perfectly timed-for-spring creamsicle flavor, and let’s just say we’ll be first in line when it drops. Although it’s not confirmed what day in March the nostalgic-flavor will show up on menus, one thing we’re certain of is that it’s sure to be delicious when paired side-by-side with the always delicious chocolate.
