Inside Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas’ Red Wedding Rehearsal Dinner
Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas gave a little nod to Turner’s Game of Thrones past for their rehearsal dinner on Friday night in France. While guests were asked to wear white for the dinner, Turner and Jonas both wore bright red.
The couple held their rehearsal dinner at the Hotel La Mirande in Avignon and hosted guests including Turner’s sister-in-law Priyanka Chopra, Maisie Williams, and Ashley Graham.
The big wedding will be the second for the couple, who officially tied the knot back in April with an intimate ceremony at the infamous Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas. While that wedding was intended to be a secret, Diplo spilled the beans by documenting it on Instagram. This weekend’s wedding date was also shared prematurely by none other than Dr. Phil, who revealed the big day in a comment he left on a photo Turner shared of she and Jonas in Paris.
“Easy now! 1 week to go! Ha! See you at the wedding!” he wrote.
The wedding today will be a much grander spectacle than the one in Vegas. Turner and Jonas have booked a lavish 18th century chateau in Provence, which includes 16 bedrooms, an 82-foot-long pool, and can sleep 29 guests. Some fans may recognize the estate from the recent French vacation shown on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
Hopefully Turner and Jonas’s red outfits aren’t an indication that they’ll be having a red wedding this weekend.
