The Internet Is Divided Over Nicole Kidman's Hair Bow at the Golden Globes
Ever since Kate Middleton stepped out wearing a hair bow in November, we've been seeing them everywhere. It was as if the world suddenly remembered, all at once, that you could jazz up any chignon, ponytail, or three-day-old bun with a simple black bow and make it look like a posh and polished hairstyle. The trend isn't going anywhere: Nicole Kidman just brought hair bows to the red carpet at the 2019 Golden Globe awards.
The Big Little Lies star wore a large black velvet bow in her hair, placed just at the top of a classic chignon. Paired with her oxblood sequin dress, the bow was a surprise element that added a bit of sweetness to an otherwise edgy look. Kidman tapped hairstylist Kylee Heath to create the look, who worked with Tresemme. As soon as Kidman hit the red carpet, the internet caught a glimpse of the blow against her icy blonde hair-and they had thoughts.

Not everyone was a fan of the bow. Although it's shaping up to be one of 2019's biggest beauty moments, bows are polarizing. Some Tweeters remarked that it looked like a leftover Christmas bow, or they just weren't fans of the way it was placed:

No word yet on who makes Kidman'd hair bow. Middleton's is rumored to be J.Crew's $22 version.
