The Internet Is Obsessed With This Target Halloween Decoration Named Lewis
The world is obsessed with Lewis.
Spooky season has been in full effect at Target for over a month—but in terms of social media obsession, the world would rather have sassy than scary this Halloween. Enter: Lewis.
Target's viral sensation is officially named "8' Light and Sound Pumpkin Halloween Ghoul - Hyde & EEK! Boutique?," but he makes it clear what his name is.
One of his phrases (and the one that made him a TikTok star) is, "I am not a Jack o'lantern. My name is Lewis."

He delivers the declaration with a metric of ton of cheek and a chuckle.
His other sayings include:
"Happy Halloween, my little ghoul! Hahahaha!"
"With a crooked smile and a glowing eye, I see all your tricks from way up high."
"I'm so happy you could carve out the time to come out tonight."
You can check out all of Lewis' witticisms in this video, taken by a TikToker who was shocked that he did more than just make an arrant remark revealing his real first name.

"I feel like John Mulaney did this," one commenter claimed. (As far as we know, he didn't, but he did play a lot of Tom Jones songs at the Salt and Pepper Diner once.)

Another quipped, "I don't know who voiced this Halloween decoration at Target but I hope they got paid a lot of money to do it."
"It just sounds like a warehouse employee playing I love it so much," another fan wrote.
Others said they "just wanted to know Lewis' story" and were curious "how Lewis got this way."
There are even transition challenges to become Lewis.

Inevitably, even Swifties jumped on the #mynameislewis train, mashing up his vocals with Taylor Swift's song "Dress." (To quote their queen, this is why we can't have nice things.)

Tragically, Lewis is currently sold out online, but if you're a lucky ghoul, you may still be able to find your new boo in-store—and you can also sign up to be alerted when he's back in stock.
