Jamie Foxx Spotted Playing Pickleball Amid Unspecified 'Medical Complication'

Jamie Foxx appears to be getting better by the day.

The 55-year-old actor—who was hospitalized back in April while dealing with an unspecified medical complication—seems to be getting back to his normal self this week, as he's been seen out and about in Chicago over the past few days.

Most recently, Foxx was spotted partaking in a game of pickleball, as seen in some snaps posted online Tuesday, July 11.

As seen in the photo obtained by TMZ, Foxx appeared to be all smiles on the pickleball court, while playing a game of doubles with three other guys.

The sighting comes just after the Day Shift star was spotted in good spirits over the weekend, taking a boat ride on the Chicago River on Sunday, July 9.

He was also seen spending a night out in the Windy City the day before, where sources said he was "getting active on his feet" and "looking to be in great spirits," as Parade reported.

After the public sightings, the They Cloned Tyrone actor took to social media to update his fans—the first time he had personally done so since being mysteriously hospitalized.

"Boat life Celebrating summer with @brownsugarbbn," Foxx wrote in a tweet on Sunday. "Stay blessed!"

Until this week, the actor was keeping a low profile in the wake of the ongoing medical issues. As Foxx's health status hadn't been completely clear, fan concern continued to grow until his daughter Corinne Foxx cleared things up back in May, letting the public know that her dad had been "out of the hospital for weeks, recuperating."

Now, fans are just hoping that Foxx's road to recovery continues to progress!
