Jason Momoa Strips Down During Cheeky Return to 'Saturday Night Live'
Jason Momoa
Jason Momoa is back on Saturday Night Live on Nov. 18—just under five years since he first hosted in December 2018—and he is "super excited," as he showed while baring it all in a promo for the episode.
In the clip, Momoa dramatically walks into Studio 8H, where SNL films, taking off his sunglasses and saying, "I'm back, baby." He then starts dancing and twirling around the set, first taking his hat off before his jacket soon follows.
His intense display of excitement is interrupted when SNL cast member Ego Nwodim walks up to him and the camera cuts to a full shot of Momoa, with his bottom half seemingly bare and blurred out.
After Momoa shouts at Nwodim about how excited he is to be there, she says, "Hey, we love you, but you just can't be wearing your underwear. This is a workplace. "
Momoa apologizes, saying, "When I get excited, I forget my pants." Nwodim's attempts to get him dressed don't work and he continues dancing, running into cast member Marcello Hernández and picking him up to spin around.
Fans were just as hyped as Momoa to see him be back on SNL, with comments on YouTube like, "Love the energy this man has. Excited to see him on SNL again," and "Couldn't be happier with this weekends return of Jason. This is going to be great!!"
"Of all SNL hosts I've seen over the years, Jason strikes me as the most willing to go have fun and entertain. He's as enthusiastic as a child. Also, the 'GE Big Boys' skit is one of my all-time favorites. Let's go Jason!!" wrote a different fan.
"I suddenly have the urge to work at snl ?," said another.
Someone else chimed in, "He's the opposite of your weird uncle at Thanksgiving. He's like your super cool uncle everybody wants to hang out with."
Momoa will be hosting the show with musical guest Tate McRae, which will mark her SNL debut.
