Jenna Dewan Shares Rare Photos of Lookalike Daughter Everly Showcasing Shared Passion for Dance

There’s no doubt about it—Jenna Dewan and her ex-husband, Channing Tatum, have definitely passed their dancing skills down to their 10-year-old daughter.
In new photos that Dewan, 43, shared on Instagram on March 17, the dancer and actress celebrated St. Patrick’s Day by sharing how much her lookalike daughter, Everly, loves the holiday. Videos included in the post also showed her daughter’s passion for and skill at Irish dancing.
“Evie’s obsession with everything Irish began way before Irish dancing if you can believe it and St. Patrick’s Day is basically bigger than Christmas for us,” The Rookie actress wrote in the caption accompanying her post. “From the lepreachaum traps to the Irish dance performances now we innnnn it.”
The first photo included in the post was taken recently, showing a pregnant Dewan posing beside her daughter. The next couple of images were throwback photos of a younger Everly decked out in St. Patrick’s Day-themed outfits.
The Instagram carousel then shifted to videos showing Everly practicing Irish dance. In some of the clips, Everly was seen doing jigs with other young Irish dancers, while others showed her practicing with her mom. The final clip showed Dewan taking a video of Everly performing last week with the Los Angeles-based Celtic Irish Dance Academy during a special appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show.

Everly is the only child that Dewan shares with her former Step Up co-star. Dewan also shares a 4-year-old son with her current partner, actor and singer Steve Kazee. The couple recently revealed that they are expecting their second child together.
During an interview with Romper earlier this year announcing her third pregnancy, Dewan mentioned her daughter’s passion for Irish dancing and how she’d decided she wanted to learn how to do it after watching the 2021 animated film Riverdance.
“It went from zero to 60,” Dewan told Romper about her daughter’s embrace of Irish dancing. “She started off with one Saturday class, and now we’re there four or five times a week, especially before a feis, which is a competition.”
