Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt's Long-Awaited Reunion was the Best Part of the 2020 SAG Awards
The stars may have been dazzling during the 2020 SAG Awards, but the real show was behind the scenes this year.
During the star-studded event in Los Angeles, Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt made their hotly-anticipated reunion at the awards show after they both won SAG Awards on Sunday evening (January 19).
Aniston took home the award for Outstanding Female in a Drama Series for her role on The Morning Show, while Pitt secured Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role for his appearance in Once Upon a Time...in Hollywood.
The pair could be seen grinning as they crossed paths backstage, with Jen going in for a hug in one of the snaps of the pair together.
They seemed quite happy to see each other, especially with Brad watching Jen's speech while standing backstage looking, dare we say, engaged?

Likewise, during Pitt's acceptance speech, he even made a joke involving Jen. He mentioned that his character in Once Upon a Time...in Hollywood was a regular guy who just "doesn't get on with his wife." The camera then moved over to Aniston in the crowd, who grinned and clapped at the reference.
"Let’s be honest, it was a difficult part," Pitt joked. "The guy who gets high, takes his shirt off, and doesn’t get on with his wife. It’s a big stretch. Big."
"Seriously, Quentin has separated more women from their shoes than the TSA." Brad Pitt is full of quips as he accepts the #SAGAwards statue for best supporting actor in a film https://t.co/duqdI5q1az pic.twitter.com/Kb1kL0LqR6

Though their reunion was brief, it was obvious from their body language that the pair weren't keen on parting after crossing paths. Brad even reached for Jen as she turned to leave after they exchanged a few words.

The pair also attended the Golden Globe awards earlier this month, though they apparently didn't make their long-awaited reconnection there – as far as the public could see, anyway. Pitt told Entertainment Tonight at the time that he'd "run into" her, calling her his "good friend."
Aniston and Pitt initially split in 2005 after five years of marriage. While Pitt went on to marry Angelina Jolie, from who he's now divorced, Aniston wed Justin Theroux in 2015. They've also split up since then. Despite dissolving their marriage in 2005, Jen and Brad have maintained a friendly relationship.
Now that we've had another taste of Jen and Brad together, though, we just can't help but crave more of the pair already.
