Jennifer Connelly's Brooklyn Home Is For Sale
If you agree that "He's Just Not That Into You" is one of the most underrated rom-coms of our time, you're also probably a Jennifer Connelly stan. In which case, you're going to *obsess* over her former Brooklyn home that just hit the market for $14.5 million, according to Apartment Therapy.
Connelly and husband Paul Bettany bought this limestone palace back in 2003, but the building dates all the way back to 1889. It's hard to imagine a literal mansion in the middle of Brooklyn's Park Slope neighborhood, but this real estate gem has seven bedrooms, three and a half baths, and a whopping 6,500-square-feet of space.
With over-the-top amenities like a 600-bottle wine cellar, a spacious backyard, and a dumbwaiter, we have no idea how she got rid of a property this remarkable.
Sure, Connelly and Bettany haven't lived in the house in quite a while, but over the years all of the owners have maintained its incredible historic fixtures, like the herringbone floors, stained glass windows, and five fireplaces.
The kitchen alone is a site to behold: It has beautifully handcrafted cabinets with a massive marble island in the center of the room, topped with a Lindsey Adelman chandelier. Expert chefs would drool over the top-knotch appliances, including a 48" La Cornue range, two dishwashers, and a glass-fronted Subzero fridge. Plus, there is a fireplace actually INSIDE the kitchen. Whereas some New Yorks have, say, a bathtub...inside their kitchen.
