The Bear‘s Jeremy Allen White is the star of Calvin Klein‘s new spring 2024 campaign, which debuted on Thursday and set the internet ablaze. Renowned photographer Mert Alas snapped shots of the native New Yorker that showcase the brand’s latest underwear styles and the Big Apple cityscape. White’s first campaign (and ripped physique) seems to have taken fans by surprise. And his boxer briefs are cool, too.
In the new images, White rocks five underwear designs with a twist on their classic appeal. The New Modern Cotton and Micro Stretch styles he models offer that no-fuss CK look, with the former using a super-soft cotton stretch. The Micro Stretch version, meanwhile, may look similar, but its smooth microfiber stretch sets it apart from the other iterations. The trunk’s wicking materials also provides you with quick-dry performance.
Elsewhere, the Shameless star is perched on a N.Y.C. rooftop—with skyscrapers dotting the background—wearing the Intense Power boxer briefs. Available in a three-pack, this option features a recycled, bold logo waistband and soft microfiber materials for less restricted movement. In other campaign snapshots, White also dons jeans while rocking the Cotton Stretch briefs, which feature a subtler logo and an “extra soft” cotton stretch.
Last but certainly not least, the actor sports the Micro Mesh underwear, paired the low-rise trunk with a crisp white T-shirt and piercing smolder. Made in sizes small through extra-large, the mesh variation is designed with a silky microfiber and a breathable all-over mesh for odor-resistance. Its four-way stretch also allows you to one-up friends on the court or hit the town comfortably—or successfully run a kitchen, perhaps?
It’s little surprise that CK would tap White for its latest campaign. (You can shop the new line on the brand’s website now.) The actor currently stars in FX’s The Bear, which was renewed for a third season last November following critical acclaim. White’s role as chef Carmy, otherwise known as Carmen Berzatto, has also landed him a Best Actor nomination at this year’s Golden Globes, which take place on January 10.
We’ll have to wait and see if his award-show look breaks the internet, too.
