Jeremy Renner Ditches Walking Cane 6 Months After Near-Fatal Snowplow Accident

Jeremy Renner is walking on his own again!

The Marvel actor showcased his strength over the weekend, ditching his walking cane in new photos snapped while he was enjoying a night out.

On Saturday, July 29, Renner stepped out for Kate Beckinsale's 50th birthday party held at Limitless in Los Angeles, Calif. In pictures from the outing, he can be seen alongside Ben Affleck's brother, Oppenheimer actor Casey Affleck, whom he likely attended the event with.

But it was the way in which he strutted up to the venue that notably caught the attention of supporters—the actor was sans walking cane, a tool he'd been using over the past several months to aid with his mobility.

In the informal snaps, he appeared stylishly casual in a lavender button-up shirt worn underneath a lilac-colored jean jacket, paired with linen pants and sneakers. The Mayor of Kingstown actor was seemingly in great spirits, too, flashing smiles as paparazzi took photos.

As Parade previously reported, the 52-year-old was involved in a near-fatal snowplow accident on New Years Day, where he broke over 30 bones and sustained a multitude of other serious injuries, prompting fans to make the case that he is, indeed, the "strongest Avenger."

Since the harrowing ordeal, the Rennervations star has been open about his healing process, often giving peeks into his recovery journey along the way.

In April, he triumphantly returned to the red carpet in celebration of his Disney+ series, and now, a few months later, he seems to be well enough to be active on his own, without much assistance.
