Jimmy Fallon Poses For Rare Family Photo During 4th of July Getaway
Jimmy Fallon is celebrating 4th of July early with his family.
The Tonight Show host shared a rare photo of himself alongside his wife Nancy Juvonen and their daughters Winnie and Frances at his spouse's vacation home in New Hampshire. The family was all smiles as they posed next to the gorgeous view of Lake Winnipesaukee, with Fallon holding up his youngest.
The Saturday Night Live alum captioned his festive Instagram post, "I agreed to take this photo only if I could stand on the dry side of the dock. Happy 2nd of July!"
Justin Long instantly recognized the relaxing spot, commenting, "Nan!!! Winnepesaukee! [sic] I’m thinking about driving up there and yelling your name in the town square until you respond What About Bob-style??."
Meanwhile, Molly Shannon adored the photo, writing, "Aww jimmy!!! Love this pic of all of you!!! ???????? beautiful family." Chelsea Handler echoed Shannon's sentiments, remarking, "I love this photo."
The lakeside home carries deep emotional significance for Fallon and Juvonen, as it is the place where the TV personality asked his wife to marry him.
As Fallon detailed to Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager on the Today show, he decided he'd "do it at her family's summer home in New Hampshire."
"I just bring the ring and Nancy goes, 'Let's go out and have a cocktail on the dock,' so I go, 'Okay on the dock would be perfect,'" he recalled. ""So I'm like [telling myself], 'don't cry. don't cry. Let her cry if someone's gonna cry.' As soon as I pull out the ring, I start crying."
