J.Lo and A-Rod show they've got co-parenting down pat on Father's Day
Co-parenting can be tricky when there are new partners in the picture. But if love is the driving force, things don’t have to be awkward, as Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez have shown.
Lopez has twins, Emme and Maximilian, from her previous marriage to Marc Anthony. And Rodriguez has two daughters, Ella and Natasha, from his previous marriage to Cynthia Scurtis. But based on the photos Lopez and Rodriguez have posted recently, it looks like they’re all one big happy family.
On Sunday morning, Rodriguez posted an Instagram slideshow featuring various photos of himself, Lopez, and their children. He also shared a heartfelt message in the caption, writing that “being a father is the greatest job in the world” to him. “Every day, Tashi and Ella make me a better dad and a better person,” Rodriguez wrote.

A few days ago, Lopez also shared a photo of herself and Rodriguez, along with ex-Anthony and several other family members, at their daughters’ dance recital. Rodriguez shared a different photo from the recital, too, tagging Anthony in the post. Everyone looks happy in the photos, seemingly displaying the family’s strong love for one another.

Anthony has shared funny videos of his kids recently, too. And it looks like his support for his ex goes beyond co-parenting — last month, he shared an Instagram post supporting Lopez’s single “Dinero.” Relationships don’t always work out romantically, but that doesn’t mean there’s any lost love between exes and co-parents, as Lopez and Anthony have shown. Last year, Lopez told Kelly Ripa that she and Anthony are “like best friends” about co-parenting, and it looks like that will always be true for the ex-couple.
Rodriguez and Lopez have been dating for more than a year, and it looks like their kids are super-supportive of their relationship and their new blended family. Rodriguez’s sweet Father’s Day post is a reminder that families come in many different forms, all of which can include plenty of love to go around.
