John Stamos Recalls 'Beautiful' Moment 'Full House' Cast Shared at Bob Saget's Funeral

John Stamos opened up about a memorable moment from Bob Saget's funeral.
While appearing on The Howard Stern Show on Oct. 23 to discuss his new memoir If You Would Have Told Me, the Full House alum detailed his heartwarming reunion with former costars Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen.
"They came to Bob's funeral, and it was so beautiful," Stamos, 60, recalled. "They got us all together and said, 'We love you. We loved our childhood. We're grateful for you guys, we thank you for making those eight years so beautiful for us. We have such fond memories.'"
He added, "And everyone just needed to hear that. I think it was Bob doing that [from the afterlife]."
Howard Stern also asked Stamos if he knew why the twins, now 37, declined to appear in reboot Fuller House. Stamos explained, "It was a messy time for that show because…I was upset at [the Olsen twins] at first and it kind of got out. And I was only upset I just thought it would be nice to have them for a minute."
He continued, "They just didn't want to…you know, they weren't acting, and I don't think a real offer came through."
The actor recalled that Lori Loughlin, who played his wife Becky on the show, told him, "They just won two CFDA Awards, that's like winning Oscars [in the fashion world], they don't want to come do this."
Back in May, Stamos talked on the And That’s What You Really Missed podcast about an interaction he had with the twins following the Netflix premiere of Fuller House. "They came over to my house and they brought a pork chop and sage. I don’t know why, but thank you," he said.
