The Jonas Brothers Told Their Cute Proposal Stories and I'm Emotional
The Jonas Brothers just sat down for a casual group interview with On Air with Ryan Seacrest, and Ryan asked if they remembered any ~details~ about the moments that they proposed to their respective wives. Joe Jonas went ahead and kicked things off, saying that he was more nervous about asking Sophie Turner's dad for "permission" before than anything else.
"I was probably more nervous to ask her dad than I was to ask her," he said. "It just all mumbles up.... ou throw out there and hope that the response is good. And you look back on it, and you're like, 'What did I say?' Luckily it went well."
Meanwhile, Kevin Jonas chimed in to say that his proposal to Danielle Jonas almost went south because he couldn't get the ring out of his pocket. Which makes sense—the man loves himself a tight fit.
"I couldn't get the ring out of my pocket in my jacket," he said. "Literally could not get it out of my jacket. It was really bad."
But apparently Nick Jonas' proposal to Priyanka Chopra went off without a hitch thanks to a full bottle of wine. "I wanted to propose, like, the day after her birthday. [Her] birthday was on the 18th, I proposed on the 19th, but I just did it at basically midnight to make it two separate days. And at that point, we'd had a had a bottle of wine, so I was a little loose. I was feeling...feeling good."
