Julia Roberts Celebrates 'Day of Happiness' with Stunning Portrait of Herself
Julia Roberts
While Julia Roberts needs no reason to show off her bright smile, the star decided to honor International Day of Happiness on March 20 with a beautiful portrait of herself.
The 56-year-old took to Instagram to share the photo in partnership with the jewelry brand Chopard, which she is a global ambassador for, writing in the caption, "??????????#Chopard #HappyWithChopard #InternationalDayOfHappiness."
In the gorgeous black-and-white photo, Roberts' dark hair is brushed to one side as she poses with a huge grin on her face. She wore a black sweater and a heart-shaped Chopard necklace and matching earrings from the Happy Diamonds collection.
"Hello sunshine !" commented fellow actress and close friend Rita Wilson, as Booksmart actress Diana Silvers dropped, "??."
While the jewelry she's wearing in her newest photo is a Chopard design, Roberts recently debuted her first collaboration collection with the brand, featuring emeralds, turquoise, and rubellites, called Chopard x Julia Roberts.
While speaking with Town & Country about the project, Roberts shared that the country of India was a major influence on the designs: "I've spent a lot of time there. The culture, the color, the way that they express themselves with their jewelry and their saris. And all of it means something."
"It's intentional and joyful, and that has always had a profound effect on me," she concluded.
Roberts doesn't often post on social media, but when she does, it's either elegant shots like this, or a dedication to her loved ones, whether it's husband Danny Moder or kids Hazel, Phinnaeus and Henry.
For Valentine's Day, the actress celebrated Moder, her "Forever Valentine," with a sweet and personal throwback photo of the couple kissing. The two got married in 2002, and are still going strong, celebrating their 22nd anniversary this year.
