Julianne Hough's Dramatic New Haircut Makes Her Almost Unrecognizable

After a brief stint as a redhead, new blonde Julianne Hough has changed her hair again. She showed up to the A Star Is Born premiere with a dramatically different haircut that makes her almost unrecognizable.

Hough is the latest celeb to get an A-line bob, otherwise known as the trendiest haircut of fall 2018. But, she gave her new look even more of a '90s vibe by getting a set of choppy bangs, too.

Upon first glance, it would be easy to write-off Hough's new cut as a wig — it is the way virtually all of your favorite celebs go from long to short and back to long hair within the span of a few days. But, the star's stylist Riawna Capri of Nine Zero One Salon confirmed with Allure that Hough's bob is in fact, the real deal.

"Julianne has been so excited to go short since we were growing it out for her wedding," she told the publication. Although the star wore her hair pinned up into a faux bob for her July 2017 nuptials, Capri broke out the scissors for real, giving Hough a cut inspired by a "chic French bob."

As for Hough's new bangs, Capri told Allure that "Julianne never gets stuck doing the same thing. Bangs are something she always wanted to try for years and we finally just went for it!"

Considering Hough spent six hours at the salon so she could go back to blonde in one sitting, it's safe to assume she has the dedication needed in order to have high-maintenance bangs.
