Just When I Thought I Couldn't Love Her More, Viola Davis Changed From Heels To Sneakers During The Emmy's
Viola Davis was nominated for the 2019 Emmy's Award for Best Actress in a drama series for her role as Annalise Keating on How To Get Away With Murder.
She also presented the award for Best Supporting Actor in a drama series.
Although she showed up to the Emmy's in black peep-toe platform heels, she changed into black and silver platform sneakers to present the award.
If you've ever felt borderline embarrassed about changing from heels to sneakers during the night, you officially have permission to embrace comfy kicks once and for all: Viola Davis showed up to the Emmy's wearing a gown with a slit that went above the knee and showed off her black peep-toe platform heels...but then changed into sneakers before stepping onto the stage to present the award for Best Supporting Actor in a drama series (she kept flaunting the same dress throughout the night).

You really have to watch her strut onto the stage to get the full effect:
Twitter promptly bowed down to Viola and her comfy sartorial choice:
If you want to score the black and silver platform sneaks for yourself, they're from the brand Hogan, but at $440, they're a little pricey.

Can't swing the $440 price tag for Viola's exact sneaks? These are some other black and sparkly options for ya:
