Cleansing and moisturizing are two of the most essential steps in your skincare routine.
Many believe that only the face deserves TLC. However, your hands need attention too, and more now that we are all quarantined due to the coronavirus crisis and washing our hands frequently.
While most people turn to hand creams for locking in moisture, a hand mask provides precisely that with an extra dose of hydration because it’s designed to penetrate deeper into the skin. I very much need this right now, as my hands have been extremely dry and flaky with all the hand-washing and sanitizing.
I decided to try one of the best hand masks on the market: Karuna Anti-Defying+ Hand Mask. The mask claims to restore moisture, reduce signs of aging and be “swipe-friendly” so you can use your phone while wearing it. Intrigued? This was my first time using any sort of hand mask, and I wanted to try this formula because it was made specifically for sensitive hands. Infused with moisturizing and brightening ingredients such as shea butter, peptides, hyaluronic acid and arbutin, the Karuna Anti-Defying+ Hand Mask is free of parabens, dyes, mineral oils and dermatologist-tested, so I felt like I could really trust it to work.
This mask is great for dry hands. After wearing for 20 minutes, my skin was hydrated and rough patches were calm and virtually invisible. Even though I was able to use my phone while wearing this hand mask, I did struggle with typing and texting.
When I wore the Karuna Anti-Defying+ Hand Mask overnight, I woke up the next day with super soft and moisturized hands. I think sleeping with this hand mask really made a tremendous difference.
