Kate Beckinsale's Toned Legs Go On for Days In a New Galentine's Day Snap
Kate Beckinsale, 48, just showed off her killer legs in a new post on Instagram.
The star posed alongside her friend Nina Kate wearing a pink babydoll dress and tights.
To stay fit, Kate incorporates compound exercises into her workouts and eats a protein-based diet.
Kate Beckinsale is taking Galentine's Day festivities to another level. The Guilty Party actress posed alongside her friend and designer Nina Kate in a pink babydoll dress she paired with black leggings and white platform heels. She also shared a few videos of them coloring and dancing together.
Kate captioned her post, "Absolutely Galentining the f**k out of Sunday @nina_kate ??????."
Fans were supportive of the Galentine's Day vibes, with one user commenting, "So … we’ll get matching gowns… wear spiked heels and color ??♀?." Another chimed, "Your guys’ friendship is literally my favorite."
FYI, Galentines Day is celebrated on February 13th, so you can still celebrate Valentine's Day right after if you're feeling up for it. Double the love, am I right?
And while I too appreciate Kate's celebratory outfit, I can't get over how toned her legs look. As it turns out, Kate works extra hard to maintain her shape.
In a 2019 interview with Women's Health, Kate revealed that she works out about six days a week with her trainer Brad Siskind, of Gunnar Peterson's gym.
When talking about Kate's work ethic in the gym, Brad told WH, "She’s a strong person...She rarely misses a workout. If she does, there’s a good reason. Because otherwise, she’s crushing it.” During training, she focuses on compound exercises that target at least two muscle groups at a time like combined boxing with abs roll-ups.
Kate also told WH that working out helps her prioritize her mental health. “I’m very connected to my body, so if I’m going to experience stress, I’m probably going to experience it physically,” she says. “So it’s usually a good idea for me to go do something physical to get rid of it. I kind of have to think of myself as a horse or something—time for a run around the paddock.”
As for her diet, Kate likes to start her morning off with a protein-packed breakfast with chicken or eggs with grass-fed butter. For lunch and dinner, she might eat a salad with radishes, Brussels sprouts, and safflower oil, with salmon. And for a quick snack, potato chips.
Leg day is suddenly calling my name.
