Kate Bosworth’s Wet-Look Lashes
Kate Bosworth lives by a “less is more” beauty mantra, but that doesn’t stop her from experimenting. At Monday’s premiere of the new BBC miniseries SS-GB in London, Bosworth brought runway trends to the red carpet.
Matching her berry lip to her flushed cheeks, Bosworth pulled off one of the biggest trends of the season. Bosworth opted for a lightweight but intensely pigmented lip color, like Chanel’s Rouge Coco Shine Hydrating Sheer Lipshine in Bonheur, pairing it with matte draping on the apples of her cheeks in a shade similar to Bobbi Brown’s Blush in Sand Pink.
Sticking with what’s trending in beauty, Bosworth used a gel-based formula mascara, like Clinique’s Naturally Glossy Mascara, to lengthen and lift her lashes, letting them stick together at the tips for a wet look. She gave her eyes dimension with taupe shadow in the creases and a bright shimmery shadow on the inner corners of her lids.
The actress’s dewy skin and minimal brow makeup kept the look fresh, and she tied it all together with an elegant chignon, blending trendy and timeless.
