Kate Hudson Honors 'Pa' Kurt Russell on Father’s Day With Family Pic
Kate Hudson decided to shine the spotlight on her stepfather, Kurt Russell, affectionately called "Pa," this Father's Day.
The Glass Onion actress posted a family photo on Instagram featuring Russell—who has been with Kate's mother, actress Goldie Hawn, since the early 1980s—Hudson's brother Oliver Hudson, and a bunch of the 72-year-old's grandkids.
Hudson wrote in the caption, "Oh how we love you Pa! The happiest Father’s Day to one amazing man! I love you! ??."
In the photo, Russell sits at a table grinning at the camera, with a green cake in front of him and Oliver beside him.
The kids in the photo include Kate's youngest, Rani Rose, whom she shares with fiancé Danny Fujikawa, and Oliver's youngest, Rio, at the front. Behind Rio is Bingham, Kate's son with ex Matt Bellamy, while the two boys behind Russell are Oliver's sons, Wilder and Bodhi. Oliver shares his three kids with wife Erinn Bartlett.
Kate's eldest, Ryder, whom she shares with ex-husband Chris Robinson, is not in the photo. Russell and Hawn's son Wyatt Russell also has a young boy named Buddy, who might be the child Oliver has in his lap out of frame. It's unclear if Russell's son Boston Russell has any kids, as he successfully keeps his life out of the public eye.
Fans celebrated Russell in the comments along with Kate, with one writing, "Do the kids truly understand what a legend they are standing by? ?? Happy Fathers Day to all the rad dads!"
Another wrote, "And still the most amazing head of hair ever ??????."
