Kate Middleton Had the Most Insanely Awkward Experience with Prince William's Ex-Girlfriend

What's worse than having to make small talk with your boyfriend/girlfriend's ex at a party? Having to sit down and play a game of "Never Have I Ever" with them. But that's reportedly exactly what happened to poor Kate Middleton when she was dating Prince William. And yeah, it was the literal worst.

According to expert royal reporter Katie Nicholl in her book The Making of a Royal Romance, Kate and William were at a dinner party with his ex Carly Massy-Birch, when the gang started playing "Never Have I Ever." And according to Nicholl's source "When it was Carly’s turn to play she announced, 'I’ve never dated two people in this room,' knowing full well that William was the only one who had because Kate was sitting next to him."

Apparently, William gave his ex a "thunderous" look and whispered under his breath "I can’t believe you just said that." And uh, Kate has barely spoken to Carly since...so, yeah. In conclusion: royals are just as dramatic as the rest of us.
