Kate Middleton and Prince Louis Went on a Valentine's Day Walk in the Park
Kate Middleton was seen out in a public park yesterday with Prince Louis, dressed very casually. The Duchess of Cambridge was walking her son in Kensington Gardens, close to the Palace.
Kate is almost never seen out in London, but Kate has taken her children for walks in that park before.
Kate's appearance came the same day her husband had an event and one day after she had two engagements.
Prince William and Kate Middleton spent part of Valentine's Day apart, as William made a visit to the Future Men charity that afternoon. But the Duchess of Cambridge celebrated the day with another little guy she loves, Prince Louis, out in public. Hello!reports that Kate was seen out in Kensington Gardens pushing Louis in a stroller, and that one onlooker shared photos of the outing on social media. The gardens are public but on the Kensington Palace grounds, where Kate resides.
Kate was able to go on the outing unbothered. According to Hello!, Kate was said to be "in a great mood during the walk. [She] politely smiled at people who recognized her."
And she was dressed much more casually than she was at either of her two engagements the day before. Hello! describes Kate as wearing black skinny jeans, a black puffer jacket with white sleeves, and New Balance trainers with her hair down and minimal makeup."
On Wednesday, Kate began her day at the Royal Foundation's Mental Health in Education conference in London, wearing a Dolce & Gabbana tweed blazer and skirt. She gave a speech there discussing how "the first few years of a child's life are more pivotal for development and for future health and happiness than any other single moment in our lifetime."
Kate ended her night at the 100 Women in Finance dinner gala at the Victoria & Albert museum. She wore a very romantic look to that: a pink and cream Gucci gown.
Kate, by the way, has been spotted in the park with her children before. Last May, she was seen with Princess Charlotte, her then-newborn Prince Louis in a stroller, her family's nanny Maria Borrallo, and three protection officers. Then, she was discreetly dressed in a gingham brown sundress, "sensible" pumps, and large black designer shades that hid her eyes, according to Vanity Fair. It was one of her first public sightings since she gave birth to Louis in April.
