Kate Upton wore a $400 jean jacket with 'Verlander' on the back to the World Series
Kate Upton’s spirited jean jacket is so cute, we have a feeling it might be the Houston Astros’ good luck charm.
Her fiancé, pitcher Justin Verlander, who she’ll reportedly marry this coming weekend in Italy, helped lead the Houston Astros to World Series victory on Wednesday night, and Upton was behind home plate to cheer him on. For the seventh game, the model and actress wore a customized jean jacket emblazoned with “Verlander” and a Houston Astros patch. She paired the piece with Astros-themed starry jeans and a backwards hat.
While the jacket was initially custom-made for Upton, it’s now available for purchase by Verlander fans everywhere for $400.
Upton has shown her team spirit throughout the Astros’ stellar season, even wearing the same jacket to a game in early October.

However, she really turned it out for the World Series. During Game 6 she opted for a bright, striped Astros bomber jacket that she paired with bright yellow heels.

Upton showed where she stood throughout the Series, whether it was through her enthusiastic cheering or her clothing.
With Upton behind the plate — and dressed for team success — the Astros won their first World Series title. Shall we just go ahead and designate her the official team mascot?
