Katie Holmes Brings Butter Yellow Trend in High-low Look to Zimmermann’s Fall 2025 Paris Fashion Week Show
Katie Holmes joined several A-list guests and celebrity attendees for Zimmermann’s fall 2025 collection show during Paris Fashion Week on Monday. The actress and producer opted for her own take on high-low dressing, introducing a more relaxed iteration of the trend.
While posing for photos ahead of the show, Holmes wore a coordinated butter-yellow look with relaxed, wide-leg trousers and a complementary jacket to boot. The trousers featured a bold statement belt at the waist, creating a more defined silhouette for the look. The jacket featured a flowing, almost oversize aesthetic, complete with buttons running down the front placket. Beneath the jacket, she styled a chocolate brown top with a plunging neckline, which added further juxtaposition and contemporary tension to the look.

Holmes’ brunette hairdo was styled with natural waves and volume, while her makeup included bold brows, a smokey eye and matte lip.
Holmes’ attire for Zimmermann’s fall 2025 show featured one of the season’s hottest trends — the butter yellow color. The actress and director is the latest star to rock the color, which was previously seen on the 2025 Oscars red carpet.
“A Complete Unknown” Oscar nominee Timothée Chalamet styled the butter yellow hue on March 2, wearing a custom Givenchy suit for the red carpet occasion. Beyond the Oscars red carpet, butter yellow has been seen on and styled by a bevy of A-list stars.
