KFC Is Offering A $30 Fill Up Deal That Will Feed Your Family Of Four—Twice
KFC wants to make mealtimes easier and is offering a $30 fill up meal to do just that. The deal can feed a family of four for two separate meals, and reheating the leftovers is so simple.
Each $30 fill up meal comes with a choice of either an eight-piece original recipe or extra crispy chicken and a 12-piece chicken tender. Along with that, it includes a large coleslaw, four biscuits, two large orders of mashed potatoes, and gravy.
The point of this offer is to help families have two full meals from only one trip out of the house (and that's just through the drive-thru). Each meal will come with instructions on how to reheat the rest of the food.
To store the leftover food, KFC suggests you keep it at a temperature of 41°F or lower. From there, you should put the chicken on a baking sheet covered for best results and bake it at 350°F for 20 minutes. Be sure to transfer the side dishes into microwave safe dishes and heat them at 30 second to one minute intervals, stirring throughout. An added tip to keep biscuits soft on the inside is to cover them with a damp towel as you microwave them.
KFC isn't the only food chain offering to-go deals that are meant to last you a couple meals. Olive Garden's buy one, take one deal comes with one hot meal that's ready to eat, and one meal that is chilled and packed up for you to save for later. As restaurants function on to-go and drive-thru only models, these deals are a way to get people the meals they need in one trip.
