Kim Kardashian Drapes Herself in Crystals for Special Event

Kim Kardashian was a practical work of art in her latest red carpet appearance, where she was draped in crystals and almost nothing else.
The reality star was in attendance to celebrate a new collaboration between Swarovski and SKIMS as they unveiled a new New York City storefront on Nov. 7. During the event, she was photographed in a glamorous, glimmery outfit made from the brand's sparkling stones.
The reality A-lister wore a high-necked, reverse vest-style top made completely of crystals secured together by a single chainlink, forgoing a bra for a sultry glimpse at her silhouette. The back featured a single strip of crystals on either side, connected across her back by several chains.
She wore a matching miniskirt, opting for a pair of Swarovski x SKIMS Cotton Rub Boxers for modesty underneath, creating the illusion of an asymmetrical waistline due to the loose nature of the crystal waistband.
She wore her hair up in a messy bun, loose tendrils falling across and around her face, which was made up with neutral tones and dark mascara.

On her Instagram Story, Kardashian showed off the custom rides she and her posse were treated to; a brigade of gray taxis bedazzled in crystals themselves.
“Okay, my ride’s here," she said, zooming in on the one with the most embellishments.
"The Swarovski x SKIMS taxi—the all-blinged-out one is for me. Those are for my girls. You guys, is this not insane? Look at this taxi,” she gasped. “This is so cool.” It also featured a vanity plate reading "Kim K."
The night before, Kardashian stepped out in a gorgeous gothic number made up of leather with lace-embellished crosses creating a textured pattern as she attended the 2023 Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) Awards at the American Museum of Natural History in NYC, so it's safe to say she's taking Manhattan by storm this week.
