Krispy Kreme Has Major Doughnut News

We'll be the first to admit it: Mondays aren't always our favorite day of the week. But this Monday, there's some exciting news on deck, especially if you like doughnuts.

Winston-Salem-based Krispy Kreme will be announcing the newest addition to their mind-boggingly delicious doughnut portfolio on Monday, August 6th, as the brand shared on social media yesterday and today.

"Dying to know what our new doughnut is? It's so good we *almost* want to tell you...but we'll wait until Monday!" the company posted on instagram yesterday, with a playful trailer hinting at how darn delicious the newcomer will be.

Today, they added to our mounting excitement for the big reveal, teasing, "[t]here's a new doughnut coming to a shop near you soon, and we PROMISE you'll freak out," alongside a similar video.

So what are your guesses for the new flavor? We're thinking it will be a double-stuffed yes-ayyyee-mmmmm-boom-yeah-ohhh, but we're looking forward to learning the mystery doughnut's true identity come Monday.
