Kristen Bell Shares Unfortunate Injury Caused By Her Daughter
Kristen Bell is sharing the woes of parenthood with her Instagram followers.
The Good Place star got into a minor, accidental kerfuffle with her youngest daughter, Delta, during a friendly round of jiu-jitsu and posted the aftermath of the gnarly injury earlier today, May 16.
The mother of two—who also shares daughter Lincoln, 10, with her husband Dax Shepard—simply had her face in the wrong place at the wrong time when Delta's teeth accidentally sunk into the bridge of her nose, leaving a small gash surrounded by redness.
Bell first posted a video while she was getting her hair done, zooming in on the injury, but the camera work left it looking a little blurry. She also posted two photos—one a closeup of the other—which left the cut visible in a more clear light, leading some fans to express concern that it might be infected.
"Might want to get on an antibiotic…. (I’m a PA in Urgent Care). Human bites (even sweet, lovely humans who accidentally break your skin with their razor sharp little teeth) can cause infections. Augmentin is the antibiotic of choice for a human bite," one medical professional gently suggested, with several concurring.
"Minor jujitsu [sic] injury…took some teeth to the nose," she explained in the caption. "Will recover. You should see the other guy!!!! (she is 8, the fruit of my loins, and has big, sharp, buck teeth.)"

Plenty of parents could sympathize, with one sharing, "Few months ago my 8-year-old sat up abruptly to kiss me goodnight in the dark and broke my nose. It still clicks."
"My eight month old leaned in to kiss me but instead head butted me and gave me two black eyes ?? he cute though," another revealed.
"This motherhood thing ain’t for the faint of heart…or nose apparently," one person commented, while another joked, "Kid took out Veronica Mars! Impressive!!!"
