Kristen Stewart wants to propose to her girlfriend so we may never get our chance

Welp, that’s it. She’s a goner. Kristen Stewart is “absolutely” going to propose to her girlfriend, Dylan Meyer, so looks like our chances have been officially squashed. In fact, Stewart is so determined to get engaged to Meyer, she told Howard Stern on November 5th that she “can’t fucking wait” to get down on one knee (or something along those lines).

Although Stewart and Meyer have been acquainted for the past six years after working on an unnamed movie together, their relationship didn’t heat up until this summer once Stewart ended her brief reprise with Stella Maxwell.

“The day I met her, all bets were off,” Stewart said of Meyer. “She rocked up at a friend’s birthday party, and I was like, ‘Where have you been, and how have I not known you?'”

Soon enough, while sitting in some “shitty bar,” Stewart broke the news that she loved Meyer. “It was sick,” Stewart told Stern.

And obviously, judging by a recent tweet from Meyer, the feeling is mutual.

So, how exactly is this proposal going to go down? Stewart isn’t sure yet, nor is she expecting to get down on one knee. However, she has a few good L.A.-themed ideas rolling around in her head.

Although this all sounds like doom and gloom for those of us head-over-heels for Kristen Stewart, there may be some hope for us, yet. She told Stern earlier in the interview that “every relationship I’ve ever been in, I thought that was it,” specifically referencing her Twilight-era romance with co-star Robert Pattinson.

Obviously, planting this seed of doubt regarding Stewart and Meyer is just us being salty. We’re more than happy for the couple and can’t wait to see what Stewart has in store for this proposal.
