Kristin Chenoweth Marries Josh Bryant in Dallas

Kristin Chenoweth is officially a married woman! The actress and singer, 55, wed her love Josh Bryant, 41, in a beautiful ceremony in Dallas, Texas, on Sept. 2.

The freshly married couple teamed up with People and photographer Dale Benfield to share the news, with the publication posting photos of Chenoweth and Bryant at the big event.

While Bryant wore a suave light gray suit with a charcoal tie, Chenoweth donned a strapless nude and pink Pamella Roland gown with pearl embellishments down the front and a big bow in the back. She wore her hair down, with a small section clipped in the front.

“I have been a self-proclaimed bachelorette my whole life," Chenoweth said to People in an accompanying interview. "I was never going to get married. I even got engaged before and couldn't do it. Until I met Josh. Then I was like, ‘Why would I ever let this guy go?’ I’m so blessed.”

She said of the dress, "I didn’t want to wear white," describing her pick as "simple and elegant." Chenoweth explained, "I never thought I’d get married, so I went very nontraditional with the gown. I love it.”

The pair got married at a private residence with around 140 guests, and a friend officiated the ceremony. Their dog, Thunder, was the ring bearer, and he made his big entrance to the song “Thunderstruck” by AC/DC.

While preparing for the wedding, Chenoweth told People: “On that day, I want to look and feel like Kristin, and I want Josh to see the girl that he has been with for five years. I'm going to look glamorous and all that, but my hair isn't going to be up to heaven, even though we'll be in Texas. It's going to look like me."

Chenoweth and Bryant first met in 2016, when Bryant's band, Backroad Anthem, played at her niece's wedding. After that, they developed a friendship, and when Bryant played at the Wicked performer's nephew's wedding in 2018, he made his move.

“Josh asked me where I was going to be playing next, and it was North Carolina. I said, ‘I'm busy. I don't have time, da, da, da.’ And he shows up to the concert and that was it for me,” described Chenoweth, recounting the start of their romance.

Congratulations to the happy couple!
