Kyle Richards and Morgan Wade Address Romance Rumors in New Video
Kyle Richards has assured Real Housewives of Beverly Hills fans that she and husband Mauricio Umansky aren't splitting up, and that her relationship with Morgan Wade is merely platonic. But a video featuring the musician and the Bravo star addressing the romance rumors is leaving fans convinced they're definitely more than friends.
Richards is set to star in Wade's music video for "Fall In Love With Me." In a clip teasing the song's music video, which drops next week, the singer notes, "I've done several music videos and every time there's someone in it with me, they always assume we're dating or something's going on."
She then delved into the headline-making dynamic she has with Richards, saying, "If you go on the internet, you see people who are obsessed with us being friends, and why we're friends, and why I would be friends with you."
Wade said that in response to fans' curiosity over the friends' dynamic, she decided to make a video that would "troll the trolls." She knew that fans would have a strong reaction to seeing Richards play her love interest, saying, "The internet's going to be popping off about this one, I'm sure."
The musician then joked to Richards, "If you sneeze, there are 45 articles about it."
Richards added, "If they're going to talk, we might as well give them something to talk about."
Wade captioned the clip on Instagram, "'Fall in Love with Me' is out as of midnight and the video drops next week. The internet asked and @kylerichards18 and I delivered ;)."
Richards also shared it on her account, writing, "I love this song and can’t wait for you to see the video (out Thursday! ??) — this shooting day that was so fun even if I was wearing a loofah for most of it. ?? Thank you @morganwademusic for having me be a part of this!"
However, their trolling may have worked too well, because fans were even more convinced that Richards and Wade are romantically linked.
"Hot dayum.. that tension is strong and obvious ??," commented a fan. Another added, "There's a definite connection between them. You can see it. When are they going to announce it? ??."
Others compared Wade and Richards' chemistry to the romance between Selling Sunset star Chrishell Stause and her spouse G Flip, who met while making a music video.
"Hahaha it’s chrisell [sic] all over again! Hahaha," a fan commented under Wade's video on Instagram. Another fan commented under Richards' upload of the clip, "It’s giving Chryshell [sic] and G."
Stause herself addressed the similarities, joking in a comment on Richards' Instagram post, "Music videos are fun ????Can’t wait to watch!??."
