Kylie Hair Is Coming, Because Kylie Skin and Kylie Cosmetics Just Isn't Enough

Kylie Jenner is out to build a beauty empire. Her billion-dollar business Kylie Cosmetics now has a sister business Kylie Skin, but the mogul quietly filed paperwork this month to launch Kylie Hair. That's right-the star who favors colorful wigs and hair transformations is coming out with her own line of hair products and tools.
Jenner's new skincare brand doesn't even launch until May 22, but that hasn't stopped her from filing trademark paperwork for Kylie Hair. The trademark covers hair styling products, shampoos and conditioners, hair masks, curling irons, flat irons, hair dryers and diffusers, and hair brushes and combs. She filed the paperwork on May 10, but there's no word yet on when she's planning on releasing the new products.
Fans might remember that this isn't Jenner's first foray into the haircare business. Back in 2014 she partnered with hair extension brand Bellami to launch Kylie Hair Couture, a line of colorful and luxe hair pieces that cost upwards of $250 a piece.
Jenner's sisters Kim, Kourtney, and Khloe have also had experience with hair products and tools. The trio launched Kardashian Hair in 2015, which included shine-boosting hair oils, shampoo and conditioner, and hair styling tools. "We want the line to be really good. You can attach yourself to any product, and that's not what we're about. We want to make sure that the quality of our product is so amazing that it just really speaks for itself," Kim Kardashian West told Allure back in 2015. "We sit with a whole team, and we're not chemists.... We don't understand the science behind it. So we can just explain it, and then it's up to us to test and we give it to all of our glam teams, all of our friends, our assistants, because we want to make sure it works on different types of hair."
We'll update this post when we know more about Kylie Hair, including the launch date, prices, and products. In the meantime, brace for the launch of Kylie Skin on May 22.
