Kylie Jenner: ‘I’m Still Bullied’

On October 5, Kylie Jenner turned on her incredibly popular — and oftentimes buggy — livestream app, and she wasn’t alone: Caitlyn Jenner was there too. In honor of World Day of Bullying Prevention, the youngest Jenner was sporting Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick in a deep dark blue matte shade called Paint ($20). She offered to paint Caitlyn’s lips, too and the livestream featured a couple minutes of Kylie scrounging around her purse for the lip color. “You’re livestreaming? How does livestreaming work? It’s already starting?“ Caitlyn asked Kylie, sounding like any parent trying to keep up with technology and their teenager. After Kylie carefully painted Caitlyn’s lips, they explained that they were sporting blue lips in order to speak out against trans teen bullying, a cause she has supported publicly for months.

“I was once bullied,” Jenner, an Olympic gold medalist, told the viewers of the Kylie app. “I’m still bullied,” Kylie added with a smirk, acknowledging all of her outspoken critics and haters. The Kardashians are “America’s First Family” according to Cosmopolitan, but as beloved as they are by their fans, they also know that sometimes just being who you are draws criticism. By speaking out, they are showing the importance of shrugging off the haters and staying true to who they are.
