Kylie Jenner says her mom Kris Jenner helped deliver her daughter, Stormi: 'Fully took my baby out of the vagina'
The birth of Kylie Jenner's daughter, Stormi Webster, was apparently a family affair.
The cosmetics entrepreneur and reality star, 25, went into serious detail about the birth of her elder child while appearing on an episode of The Late Late Show with James Corden Friday. While in discussion with Corden, Jenner explained that it was actually her mother, Kris Jenner, who completed the 2018 delivery of Stormi, now 4, whom she shares with rapper Travis Scott.
"She delivered my first child," Jenner told Corden of her mom. "Fully took my baby out of the vagina."
"Yeah," Jenner, who was sitting alongside her daughter, confirmed, laughing. "I delivered Stormi! I had scrubs, I had gloves, I had scrubbed up, I was sterilized, and I pulled that baby out of my child!"
"She was amazing," Jenner added about her helper in the delivery room. "She's really great. She's calm, she's had six kids. And yeah, I wouldn't want to have anyone else by my side."
Back in February, Jenner welcomed a baby boy, her second child with Scott. However, Kris took on a different role for that delivery, the duo told Corden.
"She was the videographer the second time around," she explained.
Jenner also spoke openly about the changes surrounding the naming of her son. While she and Scott initially named their son Wolf, they later decided they would change it. But when Corden inquired into whether they had made the switch, Jenner said there's been nothing confirmed.
"We haven't officially, legally changed the name," said Jenner. "His name is still Wolf. His passport's Wolf. But that isn't going to be his name. We're just waiting, and simmering on it. We don't call him Wolf."
"What do you call him?" Corden asked, to which Jenner replied, "You know... We're just not ready to share yet." However, she did specify that it's not an animal name.
The announcement that Jenner and Scott had chosen to change their son's name came two months after Jenner gave birth.
"FYI our son's name isn't Wolf anymore," Jenner wrote in her Instagram story. "We just really didn't feel like it was him. Just wanted to share because I keep seeing Wolf everywhere."
Despite her joy, Jenner has also opened up about the realities of postpartum life this time around, citing the "pressure" to get back to her pre-baby body in a March video on her Instagram Story.
"I just want to say to all my postpartum moms, that postpartum has not been easy. It's not been easy, it’s very hard," she explained. "This experience for me personally has been a little harder than with my daughter. It's not easy mentally, physically, spiritually."
Jenner shared that she was proud of herself for making it to her workout that day, which had already helped her feel better.
"I just keep reminding myself I made a whole human," Jenner explained. "A beautiful healthy boy. And we have to stop putting pressure on ourselves to be back, not even physically, just mentally, after birth. So, yeah, just sending some love."
Back in 2021, Jenner said in an interview with Tmrw Magazine that “becoming a mom was the biggest change for me.”
“I’ve grown so much as a person and I continue to grow every single day. I love learning and I’m trying to be the best person I can possibly be," The Kardashians star shared. "It’s been such a challenging year but the silver lining was that I had so much more time to spend with my family.”
